When
should we order our invitations?
You should place your order for the invitations approximately
4 months before your wedding. This will allow us to
order all the supplies necessary to complete your order.
Just in case items may be sold out, awaiting stock or
on back order.
When
do I need to send out my invitations?
Three months before the wedding day is probably sufficient.
This will allow 2 months for your guests to RSVP and
1 month to finalise numbers with your venue and caterers
etc. However if you are sending invitations to international
guest then these will need to be sent out 6 months prior
to your bug day.
Can I book a production
date in advance?
E.F Invitations recommends to book a production date
with us as soon as possible. We take advance bookings
up to 12 month in advance.
I am not sure on my final
numbers....
Please give us a good estimate on the numbers of invitations,
place cards etc required on your order form. If at a
later date, if more or less is required we will adjust
your final invoice (Note: as long as work has not already
started)
How long does it take to produce
an order?
An average order takes 4-6 weeks to produce from receipt
of approved drafts, depending on quantities and which
items are required. In the initial consultation period
a date will be set for customers to receive their final
orders.
How will my order be delivered?
We use Parcelforce to deliver the majority of our orders.
Deliveries take place Monday to Friday and will require
a signature. We are more than happy to send orders to
work addresses (please request this in the initial consultation).
If you are not in to sign, then most deliveries will
be left at your local Post Office. An email will be
sent to the customer on the day that each delivery is
sent by E.F Invitations so the customer knows to expect
the arrival of the parcel.
How much is Delivery?
Each delivery sent out to you will be charged at £10.00
Do your require a deposit?
Yes, you will be asked to pay a 50% deposit on the total
order cost once order form and contract has been completed.
The majority of the time this will take place at the
end of the initial consultation. The remaining 50% and
postage costs are payable within 7 days of delivery
of the last item ordered.I want to order place cards
and order of service but will not know how many until
I have received replies to my invitations.
We are happy to wait until you have confirmed numbers
so you do not have to order more than you need. A provisional
order should be placed along with your invites and included
in your deposit. At this stage you can estimate the
number of guests.
Is there a minimum order?
There is no minimum order, you are free to order whatever
quantity you require of any of the items available.
Can I change the colour
of the design I have seen?
All of our designs are available in lots of different
colours and colour combinations. Please do not hesitate
to get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Do your invitations come
with envelopes?
All our invitations come with envelopes for posting
included in the price.
Which payment methods
do you accept?
The preferred payment method is BACS Transfer however
we do except payment by cash and Cheque.
Can I use a foreign language
on my invitations?
We are more than happy to print your invitations in
a foreign language. Text for invitation must be supplied
electronically and customer must be particularly careful
when checking proofs. Please not that not all font’s
work with all languages. We do not charge any extra
for this.
Can I choose my own wording?
We have a number of wording templates available which
can be used to guide you. Please feel free to supply
us with you own wording id desired.
Can I choose my own font?
We have chosen 11 different styles of fonts which we
believe suit the majority of circumstances. However
if you have something in particular in mind, please
do get in touch to discuss this.
What if I am not pleased
with my order?
In the unlikely case that you are not pleased with your
order, we will only exchange if the items are faulty
or an error has been made by us. All the faulty stationery
must be returned to us before any amendments made. We
ask that you approve your personalised wedding stationery
before it is made, as exchanges after completion of
order cannot be given for errors on stationery if they
are in line with the signed proof. We ask that upon
delivery you promptly (but in any event within 7 working
days of delivery) notify us of any shortage, defect
or damage. If we do not receive written notification
then we shall be deemed conclusively to have properly
performed our obligations in relation to the sale and
purchase of goods.
Can
I cancel my order?
If you need to cancel your wedding stationery order
you may do so, but once the deposit has been paid this
is non-refundable. If work has commenced then we may
need to collect the final payment to cover the costs

What
do you do with my personal details?
We only collect your personal information for your order.
We do not pass our clients' information on to third
